Go to linkA sleep study is when, through the use of medical devices known as electrodes, the patterns of your body's activity during a given night's sleep are recorded for analysis. The electrodes will record your brain activity, eye movements, heart rhythm and rate, leg movements, blood oxygen levels, and breathing. In a separate room, one of our knowledgeable sleep technicians will be monitoring the data being recorded and answer any questions you might have.
If you're concerned about the quality of your sleep, know you don't have to face this issue alone. If you have a sleeping partner, ask them if they notice any snoring, leg movements and/or pauses in breathing. Also, schedule a time to talk with your doctor. She or he may refer you to a sleep center, like ours, for testing, so that together you can identify your condition and discuss treatment options.
It’s a core necessity of life, as important to our well-being as air, food and water. When we sleep well, we wake up feeling refreshed, alert and ready to face the day! Call to learn how to get more out of life through a better night's sleep.

In the United States alone, an estimated 18 million people suffer from a single common sleep disorder known as Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA)...which in many cases goes undiagnosed and untreated.
